„The vocation and mission of the EAIiIB Faculty, as part of the AGH University of Science and Technology, is to teach and educate students, train and develop scientific personnel, and conduct scientific research and research and development work in accordance with the principles of freedom of teaching and science in the spirit of our Faculty’s more than 60-year tradition.”

At the Faculty of EAIiIB, the strongest representation is in the sciences, linked in some areas to the natural sciences. The strong connection between the sciences and basic sciences with practical applications allows for innovation in the area of technical and life sciences and is very strongly emphasized in all areas of technical sciences practiced at the Faculty. Electrical Engineering, Automatics and Robotics, Electronics, Computer Science, Biocybernetics, and Biomedical Engineering.

The goal of the Faculty educational system is to form in students the ability to think logically and constructively in different time horizons, to make optimal decisions independently, and to make quick and correct conclusions under working conditions requiring the highest professional qualifications and using equipment from the area of the most advanced technologies. We also strive to develop in our graduates the ability to learn independently and permanently and to improve their qualifications throughout their lives, a sense of responsibility for their decisions, and their consequences in both technical as well as economic and social aspects.

Education

The strategic goal of the EAIiIB AGH Faculty in the fields of study is to maintain the highest level of educational quality and to develop the best possible position in the emerging European Higher Education Area, including internationalization of education.

Science

The Faculty’s strategic goals in the field of science are to conduct scientific research at the highest level in the disciplines practiced at the Faculty, to develop contacts and links with industry, and to obtain funds for scientific research from both domestic and foreign sources.
