modeling and computer simulation studies, fundamentals of PLC programming, microprocessors and FPGAs, power quality and building automation, electrothermal engineering, lighting technology, fundamentals of control theory and numerical methods.<\/p><h3>\u00a0<\/h3><h3><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>The graduate of the field of study can:<\/strong><\/span><\/h3><p>analyze electrical, power electronic, drive, and electromechanical circuits and power networks and systems, use computer simulation and design software, design a system or system composed of electrical includes the possibility of employment in the following positions: designers and engineers managing systems of electricity generation, operation and transmission, and advanced measurement systems, programmers of PLC, microprocessors, and FPGA systems. In addition, graduates of Electrical Engineering can obtain construction licenses in the specialty of installation in the field of networks, installations, electrical, and power equipment.<\/p><\/div><div id=\"jet-tabs-content-9812\" class=\"jet-tabs__content \" data-tab=\"2\" role=\"tabpanel\" aria-hidden=\"true\" data-template-id=\"false\"><p>Second-cycle degree studies are conducted as a specialty. They last three semesters on a full-time basis and four semesters on a part-time basis and end with the preparation of a thesis. The graduate receives the professional title of Master of Engineering. The graduate possesses advanced and well-established knowledge in the design, construction, operation, analysis, and testing of electrical equipment, as well as computerized measurement and digital control systems. The graduate is skilled in the application of computer and electronic tools appropriate to the field of electrical engineering.<\/p><p>Second-cycle degree full-time students can choose from six specialties.<\/p><h3><strong><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/h3><ul><li><strong>INDUSTRIAL AUTOMATION AND BUILDING AUTOMATION<\/strong><\/li><\/ul><p>Graduates of this specialty have knowledge of microcomputer automation systems used in industry and used in building automation, with particular emphasis on real-time operating systems. In the field of automation, buildings gain knowledge of the following systems: ventilation and air conditioning, fire protection, access control, utility monitoring, used in residential, office and public buildings, based on various technologies (LonWorks, EIB-KNX). Graduates are skilled in the design, construction, and commissioning of automation systems, as well as programming skills in C and C++, programming controllers in EN 61131-3 compliant languages, and the ability to program SCADA systems.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><ul><li><strong>POWER ELECTRICAL ENGENERING<\/strong><\/li><\/ul><p>Graduates of this specialty have theoretical and practical preparation for the implementation of design, technological, modernization, and operation of modern equipment working in complex structures of electric power systems. They acquire knowledge in the field of generation, transmission, and distribution of electricity, power networks and systems, research and measurements, diagnostics of power equipment, computer modeling and simulation of dynamic phenomena in power systems, as well as ecological problems arising from the impact of power facilities on the environment.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><ul><li><strong>POWER ELECTRONICS AND ELECTRICAL DRIVE<\/strong><\/li><\/ul><p>Graduates of this specialty have knowledge of power electronics and electric propulsion, especially advanced control methods, used in industrial and general-purpose equipment. In the field of electric drives, in addition to basic solutions in electric traction, metallurgy, mining, and other industries, they become familiar with the latest motor designs for common applications and their control methods. They can use design packages.<\/p><p>CAD computer simulation packages, SPICE simulation packages, and industrial controller and single-chip computer program.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><ul><li><strong>ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING IN MOTOR VEHICLES<\/strong><\/li><\/ul><p>Graduates of the Electrical Engineering in Motor Vehicles specialty gain a comprehensive knowledge of electrical technology, electronics, and computer science, fields that have led to the rapid development of the automotive industry, including electric vehicles. This is complemented by knowledge of powertrains, vehicle dynamics, or active safety systems. Graduates gain in-depth knowledge of automotive sensors, control systems, communication technologies, energy sources and storage, and energy management methods in modern motor vehicles. IEPS is a specialty that meets the demand for specialists in the &#8222;automotive&#8221; industry, and graduates find employment in the numerous development centers of companies operating in Poland that build components or entire vehicles.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><ul><li><strong>SMART GRIDS TECHNOLOGY PLATFORM (in English)<\/strong><\/li><\/ul><p>As part of this specialty, students gain knowledge related to the Smart Grids technology platform and its applications in &#8222;Smart Energy Systems&#8221;, understood as systems capable of integrating and controlling the operation of distributed energy sources and reservoirs. Graduates can optimize existing energy systems using the achievements of modern power electronics and modern IT and telecommunications tools, guaranteeing the safety and reliability of energy supply to consumers and its high quality. These skills allow efficient processing and use, as well as improving living conditions in the situation of existing competition in the energy market.<\/p><p>Part-time second-degree students can choose from 3 specialties:<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><ul><li><strong>AUTOMATION AND METROLOGY<\/strong><\/li><\/ul><p>The study of this specialty prepares the design and application of control and measurement systems. Automation preparation includes the theory and practice of discrete control and microcomputer control systems. Preparation in the field of metrology is mainly focused on measurements implemented in the automation of technological processes. The knowledge imparted allows for learning measurement methods and tools, as well as algorithms for processing measurement data and control algorithms. Graduates of this specialty are prepared to work in industry, in plants designing and producing unique products.<\/p><p>Digital apparatus as well as in scientific laboratories.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><ul><li><strong>POWER ELECTRICAL ENGENERING<\/strong><\/li><\/ul><p>The curriculum and learning outcomes for part-time studies in this specialty are the same as for full-time studies.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><ul><li><strong>COMPUTER ENGINEERING IN INDUSTRY<\/strong><\/li><\/ul><p>Graduates in this specialty have advanced knowledge in the design, construction, operation, and testing of computer-based measurement systems and digital control systems. In the field of measurement systems, the knowledge gained includes the design of measurement microsystems, the use of signal processors, and data analysis algorithms in them. In the field of control systems, the design of programmable control systems and the use of sophisticated computer tools in them. Graduates of this specialty are prepared to work in industrial plants and laboratories designing digital measurement and control equipment.
