Description of the course of study:<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>

The curse of study is a response to the growing demand for IT professionals due to the accelerating digitization of hospitals, the implementation of ICT systems for diagnosis and therapy, the implementation of IT systems for the management of healthcare units, and the provision of therapies based on procedures optimized to improve efficiency while reducing costs. Graduates in Medical Computer Science will be able to take up decision-making positions in healthcare-related IT companies and in scientific and research units carrying out work in the field of life sciences.<\/p>

The graduate of the field of study has knowledge in the following areas:<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>
  • computer-aided measurement and medical diagnosis, algorithms supporting the presentation and interpretation of medical images and signals, the use of artificial intelligence and machine learning, as well as augmented and virtual reality, and digital telecommunication techniques for remote medical diagnoses and therapies,<\/li>
  • Computer modeling and simulation and optimization studies in medicine at the cellular, tissue, organ and epidemiological levels, including modeling of physiological fluids, electrical activity, biomaterials, drugs, and movement kinematics,<\/li>
  • digital healthcare management methods such as standardization, hospital management systems, medical services tariffing, patient record handling issues, and medical device notification and accreditation.”<\/li><\/ul>
